It's another fic I made before Winsomni's Magic (And it's much more plotted). This fic is a bit more PG-13 what with all the violence and vampire-ish things. It's more of a Mystery/Action/Adventure kinda thing. I've had this idea since about 1-2 years ago, but I scrapped it since my friends are scared of it, lol. So I thought, hey, why would I scrap something I've worked on for years? So, okay, why not post it here, as dreagendome's story...so there. I hope ya'll will like it. Enjoy!  |

Chapter One: Reborn from Death
Where am I?
I can't breathe...but I feel alive.
I couldn't believe it happened, it just did...
I lost everything, I'm losing my grip
My name is Kira the Bat, and I'm 20 years old...Until something went wrong...
It was a beautiful morning, almost too good to be true. And as the golden ray of sunlight kisses the blue sky, I woke up from bed. I did my usual morning activities. I made my bed, took a shower, had breakfast, and went to work. A Toy factory is where I work. After hours of non-stop engineering, it was night and my shift was over.
It started to drizzle, when I stepped out, so I grabbed my raincoat. It rained harder and harder as I drove my car...as if something horrible was about to happen, and so it did.
When I reached home, there something strange about the door. The door knob was scratched, as if it was forced to open. I pushed the door...it was opened, someone must've been here. When I walked slowly through the hall, my heart started galloping like a hundred horses...until I reached the kitchen.
Someone was there, a burglar with no disguise. I wanted to call the police, but then he saw me. We were both in panic. He had a gun so I took one of my knives and tried to hold him off. His face was covered in sweat, his hands were shaking nervously, I figured he never wanted to hurt me. So I tried to convince him to put down his gun...but then...
He shot me, with four bullets.
I fell on the counter top, where my wings were stabbed by kitchen knives.
He didn't want to cause more trouble, so he took the stolen things and ran. I was reaching to the phone... I barely had the strength to do it. I dialled 911, hoping that someone, anyone would come.
"Hello, 911. What is the emergency?"
"Help.....my h-house is..." I choked a little, then I eventually told them...
"My h-house is robbed...help...m-murder..."
A few minutes later, they finally came. I was almost nearly died, if it weren't for the paramedics. After hours of operation, it felt like forever...I finally awoke from my unconsciousness.
"W-where am I?"
"You're in the hospital. You nearly died from that robbery." the doctor explained.
When I streched my arms...my eyes widen.
"Wh-what?! MY WINGS! W-hat happened to my wings?!"
"It's part of the surgery. Without getting rid of them you would've died hours ago. It was very difficult to do, since nothing like this has ever happened before. Bats who lost their wings never live again until now. It was truly incredible, you were lucky that you're still alive. It's as if a miracle happened."
I couldn't believe everything that just happened. So I ran away from the hospital, but I never knew where I wanted to go. Then it lead to a lake...and when I saw my reflection...
I was wingless...
I fell down, realizing that I'll never be the same again. Never. The skies started to dark, so I head home. I don't know where else to go. I looked at my house and everything was the same...except me.

Scared?  Yeah, she's a bat. I pictured it as a cartoon since I'm not so into reality. Just a note: The name Kira means, Dark Lady.  EDIT: Well, at first it is a bit...scary. Okay, a lot scary. But it will eventually be less frightening (plus there are romance parts too). Though, in the end it will still be a sad ending. I dunno. I guess I made this while I was in my dark side, or negative side. So...well, I could scrap this again. No point of continuing this if no one likes it. But don't worry, I'm not mad, in fact, I was hoping all of you aren't mad, lol. Well, anyways, gonna get rid of this fic, or at least not continue it. To be honest, I keep getting embarrassed when someone dislikes my fics,  but no worries, it's okay.  |
